LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Medical marijuana may be legal in Nevada but oftentimes patients have to pay out of pocket.
However, that soon could change.
A federal court is hearing oral arguments to get the drug out of schedule one classification.
Experts say that classification makes it a little too risky for insurance companies.
Since there are so many different strains, cannabis plants don't fit the typical standard for FDA approval.
